WHO I AM
I didn't start in real estate because I had a plan. I started because I got fired.
It was 2020. I had a son, no salary (real estate agents don't get one), and a mother helping me keep things together while I trained. I picked up side work to survive. I studied law for three years until the pandemic forced me to choose: university, my son, extra work, or real estate. I kept two.
The market exploded. I met my now-husband. And then I spent the next few years running a fixer-upper building conversion into a boutique hotel, twelve hours a day, seven days a week. Managing employees, guests, payments, eviction lawsuits, occupancy monitoring, reconciliations. The kind of exhaustion that doesn't show up on a résumé. I resigned in December 2024.
I came back to real estate with something most agents don't have: I've been on every side of a property transaction. Buyer. Operator. Manager. The person who had to figure out the legal process in Mexico not because it was my job, but because getting it wrong had real consequences.
What I do differently is document everything. Market data. Legal process. Closing costs broken down line by line. Most agents in Puerto Vallarta sell the lifestyle, and the lifestyle is real. But the buyers and sellers I work with are making decisions that involve hundreds of thousands of dollars in a country that isn't theirs. They deserve the numbers, not just the view.
One of the transactions that stayed with me was Casa Romántica. Karen had spent years managing her father's properties, handling guests, operations, logistics. Casa Romántica was the last one. Selling it meant closing that chapter and starting the next one, traveling the world with her husband, finally focused on themselves. Selling a home in a foreign country comes with unknowns. My job was to make sure none of those unknowns became her problem.
I specialize in one market segment: foreign buyers and sellers in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, in the $300K to $1.5M range. US and Canadian clients, fully bilingual, with five years of closed transactions and a system built to make the process legible from the first call to the last signature.
